When To Use What Page?#
Bad Approach: Direct To Sales Page#
This is the worst of all options: Sending traffic via your affiliate link directly to the sales page.
People will not know what to expect, in many cases they don't understand why/how they landed on that page, and the conversion rates are extremely low. (1-3% max)
If you're able to read this: Stay away from doing this. It will only hurt your business.
But I want to show you the process anyway, because unfortunately that's how most affiliates try to make money online.
A few of them don't know better, but most of them are simply too lazy to create the correct infrastructure for themselves. (squeeze page, an autoresponder, a lead magnet, an initial follow-up sequence, daily broadcast emails, ...)

Simple Affiliate Splash Page Funnel#
This simple affiliate splash funnel is already slightly better than the "direct to sales page" approach, as the splash page
- prepares the traffic for what's about to come next and it
- filters out everyone who's not really targeted (no interest in it).
But: The huge disadvantage of putting this approach into action is that you do not collect the lead as the affiliate.
Therefore, I highly recommend you only use this funnel if you have a way to get complete access to your client's data from your affiliate core offer.
If you'd like to use one of my offers/funnels as your affiliate core offer, get in touch with me and we can chat.

Simple Affiliate Squeeze Funnel (Recommended!)#
This is the first recommended funnel to use and the right way to build your own business. (email list)
If any visitor to this page is "not interested enough" to enter their correct email in order to get access to what's promised on the squeeze page, then they are likely not a great lead for you. (so it's "ok" to let them go/leave, and "only" capture the contact data of about 30-50% of all people visiting this page)
In this scenario you collect the lead, and that's the right way to build your own affiliate marketing business:
- you can now follow up with your leads
- you can now start providing value (lead magnet & initial follow-up emails)
- you can now start positioning yourself as an authority
- you can now ask questions and answer questions of your list
- you can now make recommendations for great products/tools/resources etc.
All this is only possible if you collect the lead first which is exactly what we're doing here in this funnel:
